  • We only take applications for makers on our website for upcoming market events. Each event has its own application process and we will announce to our email subscribers, and social media pages when the application will be opening. The application process is FREE. You will only be contacted by Local Trade if your application is approved, we need more info about your application, or to be added to a category waitlist. If approved, an invoice due within 7 days will be emailed to you through Local Trade Az email address. We only communicate through our Local Trade AZ profiles and email. No other outside contact is made for payments by Local Trade, so if you are messaged for info or payment outside of these avenues most likely someone is impersonating us, please block and report. Makers are responsible for collecting and reporting their own sales tax. Approved applicants are solely responsible for maintaining their compliance with the state of AZ and the relevant city. Your license information must be provided to Local Trade through your application, or no later than 2 weeks before the event to be assigned booth space. You are responsible for any damages or harm you may cause to the property, attendees, or other makers.

  • We are looking for makers, crafters, small brands, and artists, where products are substantially made by you in AZ. We seek makers who have played a main role in transforming raw materials into the final product. We have a very small percentage of marketspace reserved for boutique businesses and local handmade items will always be prioritized. The more details you provide to us in your application will help with our decision process. In addition, make sure that the website link and social media account you provide have current images where we can review your work and how your items are created by you. If you do not have a current online offering, you will need to email these items to us after you submit your application.

Category exclusivity is not guaranteed to any one vendor, but we do cap the number of makers per category to ensure the market stays fresh with high-quality wares and variety. Precautions are taken to not oversaturate one category, as well as spacing of vendors with similar category offerings.
