BEAUTIFULLY BROKEN

Longtime Phoenix resident and mother of three, I am the heart and soul behind Beautifully Broken. My idea to transform trash to treasure was born during a run across the long stretch on Pecos Road in Phoenix, Arizona. I noticed scores of broken glass bits sprinkled along the road. Carefully collecting the fragments, I wondered what I could do with them when, like so many creative ideas, it just came over me – belt buckles, jewelry and home goods.

I am a fourth generation artist based in Northern Arizona near the Painted Desert. I discovered my love of printmaking during college at Arizona State University and after graduating with a bachelors in fine art I went on to be a photographer. I found printmaking again 6 years later after I was put on bed rest while pregnant with my first baby. I had always loved carving but found my voice and style during those months of being at home. I have been hooked ever since and my style is ever evolving. I now carve wood block and painted panels inspired by southwest designs and desert botanicals.

HAMSTER LABS

Hamster Labs is a custom design and print shop owned and operated by Quinn Murphy. Catering to all types of entrepreneurs, artists, musicians and anyone else crazy enough to follow their dreams, their focus is on handmade quality goods. A print shop that leads with design and specializes in screen printed goods such as limited edition posters, cards and apparel.

Coming from a career of over 15 years in graphic design, Quinn revived his passion for the arts and wanted to make screen printing the main medium in which he would work. Crafting such goods has fueled his drive to keep learning, keep practicing and not get stuck in the comfortable. Always willing to try something out and not afraid to fail, the common modo thrown around the shop is, "Let's see what happens!". Hamster Labs was established in 2015 and continues to have organic growth as a business amongst the amazing local scene here in Phoenix, Arizona.

LAN art&design

LAN art&design was started with the idea of finding inspiration through my love for traveling, nature, and my every day surrounding environment, and then incorporating that love into my work. Each piece is unique and one of a kind. Being born and raised in Eastern Europe and exploring life in the United States gives a unique cultural twist and eclectic vision to each piece. All of my work is 100% original and can be customized to your liking, ranging from neutral to a bright pop of colors. I work with alcohol ink, acrylic and mixed media.

TIffany Egbert Studio

Well hello dear friends new and old! My name is Tiffany and I am a Phoenix based abstract fluid painter. What is fluid painting you might ask? Well to start, the majority of my work is created without using paint brushes. I pick out my colors, mix my materials, have a general idea of what I want to create and then I go to work pouring. One pour at a time I lay layers of paint down. Then I take the canvas in my arms moving it up and down, and side to side to maneuver the paint into place. The process is very physical, very intuitive and you have to work quickly which means you can’t over think it. Because of the process it was and has always been a collaboration between myself, the materials and ultimately with anything I make the divine spirit and muse that flows through me and enables and urges me to create. It is a thoughtful balance of being intentional but also being able to let go and release control. As always I am so incredibly grateful to all who have chosen to join me on this adventure!

SKIDD STUDIO

At Skidd Studio, we love making spaces shine with really cool art.   We’re Sarah & Peter Skidd, a husband and wife team creating metal and canvas art for some pretty amazing homes and public spaces.   Designers, art agencies, CEOs and homeowners come to us to find the perfect piece for their space.  Some find that perfect thing in our inventory and others order custom work –it’s about 50/50.

STEPH DALEIGH

All of my artistic applications aim to preserve the emotion I felt in exact moments, in reaction to both joy and tragedy. Musically-driven, I put in my headphones and go to work; allowing as much good orderly direction to demonstrate itself, without me getting in the way. Becoming aware of, and in-turn, modifying my own behavioral patterns is a practice in becoming present. The goal of restoring synchronicity between facial expression, vagal and vocal tonality, and body language is a different process and experience for every individual, and my personal experiment has produced a specific result; I take an active interest in living my human experience by exercising my synesthetic abilities.

WINIFRED STREET

I'm a message artist who has a passion for books, words, quotes, and lyrics. With no formal art training, and with many restless days and nights, wandering, pondering and wondering “what if” I created Winifred Street.

Winifred Street is where I grew up in a small town in Southwestern Minnesota, I watched my mom create magic out scraps of this and that while raising 10 kids and working. On her birthday, in May of 2010, my art adventure began and it has been the most delightful ride.

My purpose is sharing messages that are meaningful to me. Gentle reminders that kick start our hearts and souls into thinking deeply about love, peace, joy, kindness, and connection and how we can make our world smile. My art is created on wood, metal, canvas, cards, journals and more. I love what I do!
